Image
PINK SHIRT DAY Pink shirt day is a nationwide campaign that aims to raise awareness about bullying in schools, workplaces and communities. On this day, we are encouraged to wear a pink shirt (or anything pink) as a symbol of solidarity with those who have experienced bullying. Bullying can have lasting effects on individuals, impacting their mental health and self-esteem; therefore, Pink Shirt Day raises awareness about all the harmful effects of bullying as well as the importance of showing respect, kindness and empathy. We have the power to make a difference by choosing empathy over apathy, and support over silence.  It is time to come together as a community to celebrate diversity, and to take a stand against bullying in all its forms. Let us continue to support and promote Pink Shirt Day to create a more inclusive and respectful world for all! 🌟 As an educator, you can educate students (and families) about the importance of standing up against bullying, promoting positive relation
