Welcome to my Blog! I'm so delighted to have you here, thank you for being a part of my teaching journey! My name is Miss Chand. To everyone else, I am someone's daughter, sister, aunty, niece, teacher, mentor, volunteer but most importantly, to myself I am a lifelong learner. This is a safe space where we can foster a love for learning and create a nurturing educational community. 

My goal is to create an inclusive, student-centered environment where each learner feels valued, supported, and ARE encouraged to become independent, critical thinkers. i also highly value school staff as i acknowledge the amount of passion and effort THEY put into facilitating positive educational experiences for students, families and the wider school community.  

On my Blog page, you will find resources and simple lesson ideas designed to support students. I am also working on my Youtube channel where I post tutorials and guides to using Digital Apps, Websites etc.

Christmas Lesson Idea - Christmas Crackers:

  C H R I S T M A S    C R A C K E R S Learning Intention:   We Are Learning To create our own Christmas-themed Christmas crackers.  Equipment/Materials you will need for this activity: - Printouts or templates of the Christmas cracker craft  - Coloured paper  - Pencil - Felt pens or crayons to decorate - Scissors - Tape  - Ribbon or string - Small toys or treats to fill the crackers (e.g., stickers, erasers, bubbles)   - Optional: Stickers and Washi tape to decorate  My Teaching Sequence + Instructions: 1. Class Discussion: - Begin by explaining and showing students what a Christmas Cracker is (having an actual Christmas Cracker would be beneficial as you could pass it around and all students can get a feel of it).  - Mention  how they the Crackers pulled apart by two people during the time of Christmas because they contain a surprise inside.  2. Demonstration: - Provide the class with a live demonstration of how to make a Christmas Cracker.  A template or printout of the Christmas
